The Independant Study Group is a curatorial collaboration that was formed in 2008 together with artist

Veronique Malo. Veronique and myself started working together whilst on a residency programme at

Valand School of Art in Gothenburg. Our first curatorial project What Happens When Nothing Happens was

shown at Galleri Rotor in Gothenburg and FOFA gallery in Montreal. As curators/artists our interests focus

on the importance of process, of unedited ideas, sketches; everything and nothing that happens

inbetween. We focus not on what will be but on what is.
